How it works
The library chooses a book and a date and sets the room for quiet reading. People arrive, take a seat, and read the same book together while the music plays. It runs for the length of the session, unhurried and shaped to the room, and asks nothing of the audience but to read and listen. It suits a late opening, a reading group or a themed day, and works as well for a first visitor as for a regular.
