The Butler Gallery shows contemporary Irish and international art alongside its own collection, in the beautifully restored Evans’ Home on John’s Quay. Admission is free, with changing exhibitions through the year in a landmark 18th-century building by the river. It is closed on Mondays outside bank holidays.
