Ergodos

Ergodos has been putting out records and producing concerts since 2006, founded by the composers Garrett Sholdice and Benedict Schlepper-Connolly. The catalogue runs across contemporary composition, improvisation and traditional music, and the concerts have ranged from chamber opera to Javanese gamelan to electric guitar quartets, in Dublin and in Amsterdam, New York and Berlin. It also runs a purpose-built post-production studio in the city.

The label is still releasing. Recent records include Old Segotia by Seán Mac Erlaine and Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh (November 2025). The Ergodos Bandcamp is where the catalogue lives and where it is kept current. Its own site, ergodos.ie, has not been updated in some years, so use the Bandcamp for what is actually happening.
