Lyric Theatre

The Lyric began in 1951 in the home of its founder Mary O’Malley, moved to a purpose-built theatre on Ridgeway Street in 1968 and was rebuilt on the same site in 2011. It is a registered charity and makes its own work rather than only hosting touring shows, alongside a creative learning programme that reaches over fifteen thousand young people a year across Northern Ireland. Liam Neeson, who acted here early on, has been its patron for many years. Book online or through the box office; box office hours differ between show and non-show days.
