National Opera House

Ireland’s only purpose-built opera house, tucked into the lanes off High Street in a town that had no obvious reason to have one. It is home to Wexford Festival Opera, and it programmes music, dance, comedy, theatre and family work across the rest of the year.

It has two rooms, not one. The O’Reilly Theatre is the main house; the Jerome Hynes Theatre beside it is small, and it is where the quieter work goes.
