Swiss Cottage

The Swiss Cottage is an early-19th-century cottage orné on the edge of Cahir, designed as an ornamental retreat and beautifully restored by the OPW. The interior, including rare hand-painted Dufour wallpapers, is seen on a short guided tour, first come first served, with small tour sizes. Open daily from mid-March to early November; admission is charged.
