Dromore Wood is a National Parks and Wildlife nature reserve on the southern edge of the Burren, near Ruan in Co. Clare. Its native hazel and ash woods, lake and turloughs are laced with six marked trails, from twenty minutes to well over an hour, taking in the ruins of 16th-century Dromore Castle.
