A community social enterprise in Clondalkin that takes anything electrical with a plug or a battery — computers, printers, washing machines, fridges, electric toothbrushes, phones — and recycles it. Dropping it off at the unit is free.
It grew out of the Clondalkin Community Recycling Initiative, set up in 2002, and it now employs and trains more than twenty people. That is the part a recycling centre run by a contractor does not do.
If you would rather have the cupboard emptied than the car loaded, they collect, and that starts at €25.
